Your $18 goes to Yeshiva Gedolah Bais Yisroel, Rav Miller's own yeshiva — and your order is recorded as a donation to it.
With our thanks you receive the whole of The Best Day of the Year, Rav Miller's Yom Kippur lecture 933, three ways:
- The Audiobook — the page that reads along. One file that opens in any browser, shows the lecture as the sefer prints it, and plays the Rav's own voice from any word you press. A switch shows the quotes on their own, each playing exactly where he says it. The PDF and the MP3 are inside it too, one button each.
- The PDF — the lecture set as a sefer, 29 pages, to print. See the pages in the pictures above.
- The MP3 — the recording, 1 hour 35 minutes.
How the sefer is laid out
It opens with The 42 Quotes: 42 of the Rav's own sentences, in the order he said them. Read them first and you have the lecture in a few minutes — they are chosen so the argument runs straight through, from the first to the last.
Then the lecture itself, set as a chapter of a sefer, in seventeen short sections. Each section has its own heading, and a strip of numbered dots at its head shows where you are in the lecture. The sentences that carry the lecture are set apart in bold between gold rules, so the eye finds them on every page. The pesukim and the words of Chazal are printed in pointed Hebrew, with the Rav's own translation beside each one.
At the back are the questions and answers from the end of the tape, each question in bold with the Rav's answer under it.
You will receive the links by email.
Everything you receive — the audio, the printable PDF and the audiobook — is for the personal use of the person who gives and the people who live in their household. It is not to be shared, forwarded, posted, or copied for anyone else.
